RSPCA PRESTON & DISTRICT

Picture
RSPCA Preston & District Branch is a separate Registered Charity. We get no funding from the national society, the Government or other sources. We rely on the generosity of the local people. It currently costs around £250,000 anually to run the Animal Centre. We are licensed to hold dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals...

We have a non-destruction policy, unless the animal is extremely sick or dangerous. Our main goal is to find the animals in our care permanent loving homes; this is sometimes very difficult as they may already have behavioural problems, but we work very hard to address these before the animals leave us. Please remember it takes time for any animal to settle in to its new home, so please be patient. If you have any questions regarding your adopted pet or need additional advice please ring us. We will always try to help...  Please Donate...

LIVERPOOL DOGS RESCUE 1990

Picture
We are a small dog rescue formerly known as Animal Aid 1990 who help dogs in need find loving and secure homes, operating a strict non destruct policy. Two of our trustees have been rescuing and rehoming unwanted and abandoned dogs for over 15 years on behalf of another local organisation. We applied to become a registered charity in order to continue our hard work and on 17th May 2011 we were finally granted charity status. All of our dogs receive excellent veterinary care and are all neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed and de flead prior to rehoming.

We promise to find loving and secure homes for every dog admitted to us, operating a strict non destruct policy for all healthy dogs. We aim to provide a safe haven for unwanted dogs, making their stay with us as comfortable as possible. We are a small rescue with just 6 kennels on site located on private land belonging to one of our trustees. Our kennels are spacious with draught free back 'bedroom' areas with heatlamps and radios. All our dogs are regulary socialised with other dogs and people when suitable. We have 2 large exercise areas and in addition to this every dog is walked daily in the local park.
